Հ. Թումանյան-ի այս խոսքերի մեջբերումը պատահական չէ։ Քանզի, եթե հետահայաց գցենք Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի անցած ուղու վրա կհամոզվենք, որ նա ի զորու է լուծել ցանկացած հարց։ Նրա վերադարձը սպասելի է ու հավանական, բացատրեմ, թե ինչու․ Քոչարյանի պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում շփման գծում զոհեր չեն եղել, տարածքային ամբողջականությունը չի խախտվել, Հայաստանը գրանցել է աննախադեպ տնտեսական վերելք, կառավարման համակարգն ունեցել է որակական ահռելի առաջընթաց և այլն։
Իսկ հիմա ըստ էության՝ այո, նա կարող է հետ բերել գերիներին։ Այս հարցը նրա համար քաղաքական շահարկման առարկա երբեք չի եղել, կեղծ օրակարգ չի եղել։ Վստահ եմ՝ գրեթե 100 %-ով, որ այն օրը, երբ նա իշխանության գա գերիների վերադարձի հարցը լինելու է մի քանի օրվա հարց։ Գործող իշխանությունը պարտված է, չի կարող իր պահանջները ներկայացնել մեր հակառակորդին՝ Ադրբեջանին, ուղղակի բարոյական իրավունք չունի պահանջներ ներկայացնել։ Իսկ Քոչարյանը Ալիևին հաղթած առաջնորդ է, Ալիևի գլուխը հողի մեջ տրորած առաջնորդ է։ Էլ չենք խոսում այն մասին, թե ինչ բարի համբավ ունի միջազգային ասպարեզում։ Էլ չենք խոսում ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ջերմ հարաբերությունների մասին ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահի հետ։
Այսինքն՝ այլ բան ակնկալել հնարավոր չէ։ Փաշինյանն այլևս ի վիճակի չէ ապահովել մեր երկրի անվտանգությունը։ Մենք սովորական քաղաքական օրակարգում չենք։ Արտառոց իրավիճակում ենք գտնվում նոյեմբերի 9-ից հետո։ Այս մարդիկ այնքան ծնկի իջած են, որ չեն կարող պայքարել մեր երկրի համար, մեր ազգային շահի, էլ ուր մնաց մեր գերիների համար։
Հենց այս ամենն էլ հաշվի առնելով՝ գերիների հարազատները մեծ հույսեր են կապում պարոն Քոչարյանի հետ, որովհետև արդեն իսկ համոզվել են, որ Նիկոլը Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի շահերն է սպասարկում։

H. The quotation of these words of Tumanyan is not accidental. Because, if we look back at Robert Kocharyan’s path, we will be convinced that he is able to solve any issue. His return is expected and probable, let me explain why ․ During Kocharyan’s tenure, there were no casualties on the line of contact, territorial integrity was not violated, Armenia registered an unprecedented economic growth, the management system had tremendous qualitative progress, etc.
And now, in fact, yes, he can bring back the captives. This issue has never been a subject of political manipulation for him, there has never been a false agenda. I am almost 100% sure that the day he comes to power, the issue of the return of the captives will be a matter of a few days. The current government is defeated, it cannot present its demands to our opponent, Azerbaijan, it simply has no moral right to make demands. And Kocharyan is a leader who defeated Ali, Ali is a leader trampled on the ground. Not to mention what a good reputation it has in the international arena. Not to mention the warm relations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the second president of Armenia.
That is, it is impossible to expect anything else. Pashinyan is no longer able to ensure the security of our country. We are not on the usual political agenda. We are in an extraordinary situation after November 9. These people are on their knees so much that they cannot fight for our country, our national interest, let alone for our captives.
Taking all this into account, the relatives of the captives have high hopes for Mr. Kocharyan, because they have already been convinced that Nikol serves the interests of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
