Բանն այն է, որ Օնիկ Գասպարյանի հայտարարությանը միացած 40 գեներալներից շատերը տարբեր խոսակցությունների ժամանակ կարծիք են հայտնել, թե ՊՆ-ում այդպես շարունակվել չի կարող, և միգուցե առաջիկայում հրաժարականների շքերթ լինի․․
Միեւնույն ժամանակ գեներալների մի մասն էլ ասել է, թե այլեւս այլընտրանք չկա, պետք է իրենք մնան եւ շարունակեն իրենց ծառայությունը՝ հանուն հայրենիքի եւ բանակի»․․․
